This HNC course will provide you with knowledge and understanding of the roles within the social and community work sector, recognising the importance of collaboration at all levels. It will build on your existing knowledge and experience of culturally diverse organisations, cross-cultural issues, diversity and values whilst developing and expanding your skills and practice. You will gain a wide range of sector knowledge tied to practical skills gained in evidence-based practice, personal research, self-study, directed study and mandatory workplace learning and experience.
Please note there may be additional costs for DBS checks and educational trips associated with this course. Students must have independently secured a work placement before they start their course.
