Our degree allows you to build your knowledge and understanding of organisations and how they are managed. Get the skills you need to become a confident business manager.
Good business management is at the centre of every successful organisation of any size and in any sector. Our course prepares you for general management, particularly those looking for a role in the service, retail or public sectors.
You'll study fundamental areas of business, finance, HR, marketing and operations, and the macro and micro environments in which they operate including cultural, social and ethical issues.
You'll have opportunities to examine real-life organisational problems by making the most of the strong links between Christ Church Business School and a wide range of local, regional and national organisations.
Our students find their degree a significant advantage when selecting a career. The combination of academic study and practical assessments is readily appreciated by potential employers. Among the occupations our recent graduates are now following are air traffic control, airline pilot, armed forces, banking, project management, retail management and teaching. Many of our recent overseas graduates have moved directly into management positions in their home countries. These degrees are also an ideal basis for continued study at Masters level in a range of related business disciplines. With the FLUX Sustainable Business Challenge business ideas are “pitched” to a judging panel and feedback provided, helping you learn. Feedback from students is positive with comments such as QUOTE “A very good experience, helping improve confidence and practical business thinking”.
