On UEA’s Education course you’ll be taught by leading experts and practitioners from a range of disciplines. Our diverse team will spark your curiosity and help you explore what education means to you.
You’ll be able to shape the course to explore your own interests across a range of settings. You’ll explore art and creativity, the human brain, nature and outdoor learning, AI and digital technology, and so much more.
Situated on a vibrant campus in the heart of Norwich, you’ll be able to take advantage of our facilities and links to the local area. Gain experience through placements in educational settings, explore the coast and fens of Norfolk, learn from museums and galleries such as the Sainsbury Centre, and hear from local practitioners.
You’ll be supported towards a wide range of career pathways by our strong links to teaching training including PGCEs, careers in educational research, work in government and charity sectors, or youth work. Education opens the doors to a universe of opportunities, so our team will work with you to help unlock your next steps.

The written word is not dead or static but full of life which it gives to us, which is why I feel the study of Literature is so significant. I also enjoy creative writing as a way of developing my passion for reading, and enjoying an appreciation for my favourite books which is interactive and participatory. In my spare time I boulder at Rock Punk Climbing Cafe, located on Magdalen Street in Norwich, and Highball Climbing Centre, just a bus ride away from the City Centre. I love the element of problem solving involved in completing difficult routes and advancing towards harder challenges with a renewed set of physical and mental skills. I also find that Climbing is a sport that has helped me immensely around difficulties stemming from complete blindness in my left eye, such as strengthening depth perception and hand eye coordination. It is something I'd recommend very highly to anyone with impaired eye-sight (and everyone else too!) I am also well acquainted with the DSA process by virtue of my blindness so please do message me if you're curious or facing any troubles with regard to disability allowance and support! I have also skateboarded for a number of years and enjoy a street skate sesh or a trip to Eaton Park whenever I can :) Aimée

Additional fee information
Tuition fees increase annually for all students in subsequent years of study. Any fee increase is based on the fee for the year that you register. Home undergraduate fees, whose rates are regulated by the UK Government, will be amended in line with any alteration advised by the UK Government. Fees not regulated by the UK Government will increase by a maximum of 4% or RPI-X whichever is the higher. RPI-X is the Retail Prices Index excluding mortgage interest.
