Course summary

Become a Nurse in just two years on this fast track, graduate entry programme designed for graduates from any degree. Upon completion, you’ll be able to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse (Adult).

You’ll by taught by experts, joining a community ranked 3rd in the UK for Nursing (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026). You’ll learn in our new and state-of-the-art facilities, and in the real world on practice placements in varied settings and roles.

You’ll develop the expertise needed to transform the health and wellbeing of adults, learning to make complex decisions, evaluate practice, coordinate care, and advocate for your patients' needs.

If you are already a qualified Nurse, this course can also help you if you want a second field of registration.

Assessment method

Assessments on this PGDip in adult nursing take the form of essays, exams, projects and professional conversations. Practical skills will be assessed whist you are on placement and recorded by your practice mentor.
