In our digital age, we create an ever-increasing volume of data every day. With enormous data sets emerging across all industries, the ability to analyse, interpret, and communicate data through statistical analysis is an increasingly important skill.
Our expert teaching team deliver all-round mathematical training with an in-depth study of statistics. You’ll start by building a foundation across pure, discrete, decision and modern applied mathematics. Then specialise in a range of topics from computational statistics to actuarial mathematics.

Interested in applying probabilistic modelling to genetics? Curious how banks use statistics to predict the impact of economic crises? Focus your study to match your ambitions with our optional modules.
As part of your learning, you’ll have the opportunity to apply to take a year abroad or kickstart your career with a professional placement. Being in our London location, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Your CV will now be stuffed with sought-after skills and knowledge that you’ll have picked up throughout the programme. Most of your modules will be assessed by an examination worth at least 90 per cent of the year’s study, with the remainder covered by coursework and tests. Some BSc students will also complete a final-year project.
