*Depending on which options you select as you go through the course, you will eventually graduate with one of our specialist pathway awards. However, with the exception of the Economics and Finance pathways, you will not need to choose your specialism until the end of the second year. The pathways you can choose are as follows:

  • BA (Hons) Business & Management (Entrepreneurship)

  • BA (Hons) Business & Management (Global Operations)

  • BA (Hons) Business & Management (HRM)

  • BA (Hons) Business & Management (Marketing)

  • BA (Hons) Business & Management (Project Management)

  • BA (Hons) International Business & Management

This is the foundation year option for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course. This additional year of study will give you with a grounding in Business and Management, building your confidence, knowledge and skills for further study. After successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress to the full degree.

Modules

During the foundation year, you will study the following units: Fundamentals of Business & Management, Academic & Professional Practice and Fusion Business Project. As part of the degree, you will study a range of subject areas including management competencies; organisational behaviour & responsible management, marketing, recruiting, selecting & training and strategic management. In your final year you can choose to specialise in a certain area of business on one of our pathways.

There are no GCSE requirements. The Foundation Year will cover these skills in preparation for degree study.
