Our BA(Hons) Business and Events Management covers essential business areas with a focus on events management. You’ll learn from concept design and planning to delivery and evaluation, seeing the entire events process.

The curriculum challenges your thinking and develops your entrepreneurial mindset, covering professional development, research, and sustainability. Engage with industry professionals through pitches and guest lectures.

From day one, you’ll participate in real-world learning experiences via our Professional Practice Stream, working closely with mentors and tutors to build a portfolio for potential employers.

In your final year, real-world practice modules, including a final year client project, will enhance your CV and prepare you for the professional world. Opportunities for industry events experience are available through sandwich year placements, study abroad, and live briefs.

This course will prepare you for a career in events and beyond. You could work in the wider business world, including marketing and project management, in organisations from smaller agencies to large workforces. You could also start your own events enterprise or become a freelancer.
