Course summary
For many years, Point Blank has shared the secrets of the music business and has seen its students find high profile work in the industry. In an exciting and opportunity-filled musical landscape, this degree programme gives you the skills, depth of knowledge, practical experience and confidence needed to take on a wide range of roles within the music industry, as well as the contacts to get going. This accelerated two year programme includes setting up a record label; planning and executing live performances and tours; understanding Intellectual Property (IP) law and copyright; an intimate understanding of the relationships between record labels, music publishing companies and the live sector and crucially, how to negotiate music industry contracts, deals and much more. We will help you identify your career opportunities and develop a strategy for success in your chosen field.
