The monetary value of data has led to an increase in cyber-crime, meaning computing professionals with cyber security knowledge and expertise are in high demand. You could make a huge impact in this fast-paced world with significant earning potential in roles across many sectors from law enforcement to the private sector, military or banking and finance, when you enrol onto our Computer Science with Cyber Security course.
Our integrated foundation degrees are for those of you who possess the capability to pursue a degree but do not have the pre-requisite qualifications to directly apply to your desired course. The duration of the foundation element is one year, and, if you successfully pass, you will automatically progress on to the degree.
You’ll be taught both the theoretical and the practical elements of computer science and cyber security. After all, many of the big challenges in the cyber security field use both computer science and software engineering techniques to find solutions or to develop the next generation of security products.
You can also undertake an industrial placement in your fourth year, which can help boost your CV and make you attractive to graduate recruiters.
