Technology has made the world more connected and with it opened a global market where businesses can trade internationally. Companies need graduates who understand the global landscape and how businesses operate on the world stage. Our BSc in International Business Management gives you a greater understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing businesses who want to trade and/or operate overseas.
We’ll help you gain specialist knowledge in building and maintaining relationships with international stakeholders and look at the political, cultural and economic challenges you may face when trading globally. Our diverse student body means you’ll be studying alongside students of different nationalities right here in Bangor, who bring along international perspectives and viewpoints.
Preparing you for the ever-evolving world of global business, our International Business Management degree is designed to offer a diverse and well-rounded curriculum. Covering core topics such as the principles of management, enterprise and contemporary management issues, this course is designed to give you the skills to become a confident leader. You can also study topics such as marketing, business analytics and employee-life cycles to help broaden your business knowledge.
Students can take advantage of our ‘With Work Placement’ option, which offer the opportunity to undertake a year's work placement helping to prepare you for the graduate job market here in the UK and beyond.
'Placement Year’ and 'International Experience Year’ options are available for this course. You will have the opportunity to fully consider these options when you have started your course at Bangor and can make an application for a transfer onto such a pathway at the appropriate time. We allow you flexibility in meeting our entry requirements and accept a broad range of qualifications. We are happy to accept combinations of the qualifications listed above, as well as alternative Level 3 qualifications such as City & Guilds, Access and Cambridge Technical Diplomas. We also welcome applications from mature learners and/or those with other qualifications are considered on individual merit.
