The BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance program is designed to empower students with a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and practices, equipping them with the analytical skills needed to thrive in the dynamic world of accounting.

This is the foundation year option for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course. This additional year of study will give you with a grounding in the general business and management skills required for accounting and finance, building your confidence, knowledge and skills for further study. After successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress to the full degree.

Modules

During the foundation year, you will study the following units: Fundamentals of Business & Management; Academic & Professional Practice; Fusion Business Project. As part of the degree, you will study a range of subject areas including accounting, finance, quantitative and statistical techniques, law and economics for accounting & finance, business management, taxation, financial reporting, audit & control and business tax planning.
