Upon completion of your Higher National Certificate in Construction Management (Construction Design and Build Technician) you will have developed a sound understanding of architectural practices and techniques along with other disciplines ensuring you will be ready to take the next step forward in the design of construction projects, or take further qualifications to better your knowledge and understanding of the industry.

This course is particularly relevant to people already working in or looking to develop a career within it. Further the course provides a range of skills relevant across a variety of different professions. The primary way of delivering this course is on campus.

On campus teaching includes a combination of lectures, small group seminars, workshops, guest lectures, field trips and one-to-one discussion with your tutor.

The academic year is 30 weeks in duration with students expected to attend two days a week on a full-time programme and one day a week on a part-time programme.

Further, students will receive 14 hours of teaching per week when attending on a full-time course and 7 hours part time. Additional one-to-one meetings with tutors will provide further support.
