Wrth ddewis astudio BA Creu Cyfryngau ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth, cewch brofiad creadigol a bywiog heb ei ail. Byddwch yn astudio mewn adeilad modern sy’n cynnig cyfleusterau gwych, a staff brwdfrydig fydd yn eich ysbrydoli. Cewch ymwneud â phartneriaid megis y BBC, S4C, Boom, Fiction Factory, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch a llu o rhai eraill. Mae’r cwrs yma wedi ei ddylunio i sicrhau fod cydbwysedd rhwng profiad beirniadol a chreadigol, ac mae’n galluogi ein myfyrwyr i ddatblygu eu sgiliau deallusol, creadigol a thechnegol.

  • Cyfleusterau ac adnoddau rhagorol ar gyfer gwaith ymarferol: tair stiwdio ymarfer, pob un ag adnoddau technegol hyblyg; 2 stiwdio fawr ag offer o safon broffesiynol a rigiau goleuadau digidol a reolir drwy ETC Congo a phaneli rheoli Strand Lighting, offer PA Yamaha a Soundcraft, systemau clyweledol Sanyo a goleuadau Strand, a dau NXAMP; yn ogystal â chyfleusterau gwisgoedd a wardrob.

  • Cysylltiadau agos â Chanolfan y Celfyddydau ar y campws, sef un o’r canolfannau celfyddydau mwyaf yng Nghymru, sy’n cyflwyno gwaith theatr a dawns cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol yn rheolaidd.

Mae cyflogadwyedd yn rhan annatod o’n holl weithgareddau. Byddwch yn dysgu sgiliau gwerthfawr y mae galw mawr amdanynt ymhlith cyflogwyr. Yn eu plith mae: gweithio’n effeithiol mewn grŵp i ddatblygu, ymarfer a chynhyrchu digwyddiadau byw; defnyddio sgiliau creadigol, dyfeisgar a datrys problemau mewn amryw o sefyllfaoedd; ymchwilio, a chloriannu a threfnu gwybodaeth; saernïo a chyfleu syniadau’n effeithiol mewn amryw o sefyllfaoedd ac mewn amryw o ffyrdd; gweithio’n annibynnol a gydag eraill; trefnu'ch amser a defnyddio'ch sgiliau’n effeithiol.

Beth fyddwch chi'n ei astudio?

Bydd y crynodeb isod yn rhoi darlun i chi o'r hyn y mae'n bosibl y byddwch yn ei astudio yn ystod y cynllun gradd tair blynedd.

Y flwyddyn gyntaf:
egwyddorion a sgiliau pob cam o'r broses gynhyrchu: ysgrifennu sgriptiau, saethu, cyfarwyddo a golygu; dulliau cyfoes o greu ffilmau a fideo, ynghyd â gwaith aml-gyfryngol byw; amodau gwaith a heriau cyfoes i’r diwydiannau creadigol yng Nghymru a thu hwnt; sut i greu cwmni creadigol ar gyfer cyflwyno gwaith ensemble; datblygiadau allweddol yn hanes, theori a dadansoddiad ffilm a theledu.

Yr ail flwyddyn:
dulliau cyfoes o greu a chyflwyno traethodau fideo; gwaith cynhyrchu ar raddfa lawn dan gyfarwyddyd aelodau staff; technegau cynhyrchu, gwneud ffilmiau dogfennol ac ysgrifennu ar gyfer ffilm a theledu; agweddau ar hanes ffilm, teledu a’r diwydiannau creadigol yn Nghymru ac ar draws y byd; agweddau ar berthynas y cyfryngau a’r gymdeithas gyfoes.

Y flwyddyn olaf:
creu gwaith creadigol annibynnol; cwblhau prosiect ymchwil mawr ac astudiaethau damcaniaethol uwch; mireinio sgiliau mewn prosiectau cynhyrchu unigol ac mewn grŵp; datblygu sgiliau mentergarwch drwy archwilio cyflwr cyfoes y diwydiannau creadigol; sgriptio ar gyfer cynyrchiadau cyfryngol ac amlgyfrwng llawn; paratoi a chynllunio gyrfa greadigol.

The University welcomes undergraduate applications from students studying the Access to Higher Education Diploma, provided that relevant subject content and learning outcomes are met. We are not able to accept Access to Higher Education Diplomas as a general qualification for every undergraduate degree course.

Aberystwyth University welcomes the Welsh Baccalaureate as a valuable qualification in its own right and considers completion of the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate to be equivalent to an A level grade.

Applicants are selected on their individual merits and offers can vary. We allow you flexibility in meeting our entry requirements, and all qualifications that you have already gained, or are working towards, will be considered when reviewing your application.

A minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent) English or Welsh is a requirement for entry to all our degree schemes. Business, Mathematics, Psychology and Science degree schemes also require a minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent).

Additional fee information

The UK and Welsh Governments have confirmed that EU students commencing their studies in the academic year 2021/22 will no longer be eligible for home fee status. Fees for EU students will therefore be charged in line with international fees from 2021/22 onwards.
