This is the foundation pathway for our LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology course, however the course content covers aspects of law, criminology and policing meaning you’ll be able to progress onto any of the following courses:

Course Overview
You’ll learn the foundations of law, criminology and policing. This allows you to experience a broad range of topics helping you decide what area you want to progress further with. You’ll also gain the key academic skills required to succeed on an undergraduate degree.

After progressing from your foundation year you’ll:
Learn about both law and criminology with optional modules allowing you to tailor your course to your interests.
Present cases, take part in trials and learn about professional conduct in court in our newly refurbished moot court room.
Benefit from our strong links with prisons and legal firms such as Brabners, Harrison Drury, Napthens Solicitors and many more.

5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above including Maths and English or equivalent. Equivalent qualifications are Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English or Level 3 Key Skills in Maths and Communication.
