Law with Business Studies

The popular LLB Law with Business Studies degree, taught in partnership with Birmingham Business School, gives you a thorough grounding in English law and the disciplines and constraints it imposes on business practice, opening up career opportunities across a diverse range of areas.

There are close connections between the law and modern business enterprise. Lawyers acting for commercial clients can benefit from an understanding of organisations, their management and the way they structure their activities. People in business can benefit from a concrete knowledge of the law.

In each year of this qualifying LLB Law degree course you will study both Law and Business, and the proportion is approximately two-thirds law to one-third business.

Undergraduate Law students have had the opportunity to study all over the world in countries including Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, France, Germany and Japan.

First-year modules cover a broad base of the subject and are designed to introduce you to ways of studying at university. By the final year the modules you take will become more specialised and reflect the research expertise of the academic staff.
