Course Overview
The BA(Hons) Animation course equips students with essential skills for a career in animation. The course covers both traditional and digital animation techniques, including 2D and 3D animation, character design, and storyboarding. Students will learn about the entire animation production process, from concept to final output, and gain a thorough understanding of the industry’s methodologies and business practices. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for diverse roles in the animation industry, ensuring they are well-versed in both the creative and technical aspects of animation. The course is implemented using a Universal Design for Learning framework, which promotes inclusive education and accommodates the diverse needs of all students.

Course optionsBIMM University (or our partner Met Film School) welcomes applicants from countries that will require a student visa to study in the UK. Applicants must meet requirements set by UKVI. Upon acceptance of an offer you may be required to attend a consultation with a member of the admissions team.
We are waiting on confirmation from UKVI that some of our campuses can accept applicants that require a student visa. Should these not be approved, we will be able to offer an alternative course and/or campus, subject to audition/portfolio and academic requirements being met.
