Course summary

The European Studies (German pathway) BA is an interdepartmental study course that allows you to study Modern Europe from a German perspective. You will study the politics, history, language and contemporary culture of Germany. This will prepare you for the third year, which is typically taught and examined in German at Humboldt- Universität zu Berlin our current German partner.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

35 points
35 points overall or an aggregate score of 17 from three Higher Levels. There is no required subject for the Ab Initio pathway. Must include grade 5 in Higher Level German for the standard pathway. Notes: The total point score of 35 includes TOK/EE.

All International applicants to Undergraduate programmes are required to pay a deposit of £2,000 against their first year’s tuition fee. This deposit is payable when you firmly accept an unconditional offer to study with us, and will be offset against your tuition fees when you join King’s.
