Our degree is designed to provide you with the knowledge and the understanding of some of the principal aspects of business and management in the context of sport. You will consider the importance of sport for the welfare of individuals and groups in society and how, as a manager, you can respond effectively to their needs.
In your first year you will follow a programme of study that introduces you to all aspects of sport management from customer care through to understanding mega sport. In the second year of the course you are able to choose a pathway in Business or Physical Activity through to a named degree:

You are eligible to become 'student affiliate members' of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) for free during your time of study at the University.
