MA Acting for Stage and Screen is an innovative professional training in stage and screen acting. Through practice-led learning and research, you will be immersed in developing and enhancing professional techniques related to the acting craft, such as working with text, voice, movement and performance for stage and screen.
Our goal is to cultivate adaptable and versatile actor-entrepreneurs, empowered by mastery of their craft across diverse mediums, spaces, and platforms. In this Master's programme, we will support you in refining your craft and deepening your understanding of your creative, collaborative, performance, and research processes. We aim to help you develop a reflective acting practice through critical thinking, guiding your growth and research process to enhance your creative skillset for a variety of professional contexts.
The diversity of our student intake is our course's strength. It's open to those with professional as well as academic experience. Throughout the course you will have opportunities to collaborate with students from other disciplines, allowing you to develop an interdisciplinary creative network.
We teach you at our purpose built, industry-standard performing arts studios in Stratford. Beyond the university, you will also have the opportunity to show your work in professional venues.
