Course summary

This contemporary and market driven course will provide you with an innovative study of the theory and practice of various areas of Business Management. With a strong applied / vocational focus you will be equipped with the key transferable skills that are required by employers after you graduate.

The course covers academic as well as practical and contemporary aspects of Business Management which will prepare you for work in, and the setting up of, modern business organisations, as well as for study at postgraduate level.

We’ve designed our BA (Hons) Business Management so that it is relevant to you - it will allow you to draw on your own learning, work or entrepreneurship experience.

The degree programme is also beneficial to students who work while studying. You will be able to implement the skills and knowledge you gain in the classroom in your own workplaces and businesses in ‘real time’.

Whenever possible, you’ll work with authentic (and where possible ‘live’) case studies of contemporary organisations to help meet your own objectives..

Our BA (Hons) Business Management has been redesigned to include CMI accreditation and to provide you with the opportunity to graduate with a specialised qualification:

  • BA (Hons) Business Management (Marketing)

  • BA (Hons) Business Management (Entrepreneurship)

  • BA (Hons) Business Management (Human Resource Management)

You will be eligible to graduate with a specialised qualification if you take specific modules in your final year. You only need to make a decision about whether or not you want a specialised qualification before you start your final year. If you don’t want to specialise, you will graduate with a BA (Hons) Business Management.

Home Students Only: When you enrol on the BA (Hons) Business Management, you will be provided with a free laptop. All students will be provided with access to our Virtual Learning Environment, online library and eBooks.

We aim to provide you with a 21st Century technology-advanced educational experience where there are no hidden costs. Your tuition fees are fully inclusive – finance will not be a barrier to your ultimate success.
