Students will be taught the fundamentals of environmental science, geography and ecology, while being introduced to the role that design and engineering can play in reducing our footprint on the globe. They will also be able to choose from social science courses that deal with policy social welfare and governance, and gain insight into how we manage human activity and exploitation of natural resources such as fisheries to achieve sustainability goals such as the UN Sustanability and Development Goals. This multidisciplinary course will equip students for future careers that require the ability to work across disciplines and the ability to see the bigger picture.
