Course summary

The aims of the course are to:

  1. Develop critically minded sport, coaching and physical activity graduates equipped with professional and graduate skills commensurate to broad career paths, through an academically rigorous curriculum.
  2. Develop students with deep theoretical understanding of human responses across fundamental disciplines of sport, coaching and physical activity.
  3. Develop students’ practical competencies in sport, coaching and physical activity.
  4. Develop analytical skills to critically appraise and evaluate data in sport, coaching and physical activity.

This course is offered in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University at London South East Colleges (Orpington Campus).

Level 6 Entry

We would usually consider applications from people who have a Level 5 qualification (usually a foundation degree or similar; for example, a diploma of higher education or other accumulated credits at Levels 4 and 5) in a related subject area.

AND

Applicants are also required to currently be in sector relevant employment (paid or voluntary experience) of 10 hours per week prior to the course commencing.
