Throughout this course you will develop an overview of all agricultural systems including livestock, crops and farm buildings and machinery, along with the essential skills necessary to run a successful farm business. You will develop an understanding of how agriculture relates to animal welfare, environmental and conservation issues. The course will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a careers at supervisory/junior management level within agricultural industries, or for self employment in farming or other land-based sectors. Upon successful completion of this course students may apply to join year 3 of the BSc/BSc (Hons) Agriculture course.
