With two vibrant campuses in Weymouth and Dorchester, Coastland College offers a wide range of courses and hands-on career training in unique and industry-standard spaces, rate ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2025. Whether you’re heading to uni, work or looking to boost your skills – this is where it starts.

At our stunning Kingston Maurward campus, you can gain hands-on expertise in environmental subjects, including ecology and conservation, business and animal behaviour in a setting deeply rooted in sustainability and practical learning.

At our well connected Weymouth campus, you can study a diverse range of courses across health, animation, art and design, creative media and music, equipping you with the technical and academic skills to succeed in industries locally and beyond.

Located on the stunning Jurassic Coast and the beautiful Dorset countryside, our campuses offer a diverse range of courses, training and CPD that cater to a wide array of interests, career paths and business needs.

What makes us different

As a College with two very diverse campuses we offer a unique learning experience, whether that is in creative studies or in land based programmes. All of our courses have a high level of practical learning for industry skills. We have access to amazing facilities on each campus to support programmes - animation studios, art studio spaces, animal collections, rural businesses and the living laboratory of our Kingston Maurward estate. Course design includes assessments that relate directly to the sorts of industries our courses prepare you for.

We offer a great learning opportunity to the local area of Dorset, but are accessible to south Somerset, East Devon and west Hampshire. Our curriculum design supports the learner journey with careful timetable design, transport links and great student support.
