Andzhela
City, University of London
Economics BSc (Hons)
Hi, my name is Angela and I am currently studying Economics at City. I was born in Smolyan, Bulgaria, however, I moved to London when I was 13. Ever since, I have enjoyed living and studying here as I strongly believe that a bad day in London is still better than a good day anywhere else! As an Economics undergraduate, I hope to secure a career in the financial industry. So far, my experience at the university has been very satisfying. I was recently appointed to be one of Cityâs brand ambassadors, which allows me to do what I love i.e. to communicate with different people. Given my knowledge and the skills I have secured in the past, I will be looking forward to receiving your questions and helping out as much as I can, so feel free to ask.

Computer Science
Hey there! I'm a second-year computer science student from Tanzania. When I'm not buried in code, you can find me on the football field, shooting hoops on the basketball court, or battling it out in online battle royale gamesâI'm a bit of a gaming enthusiast. I've also got a thing for cars, their mechanics and design fascinate me. What really excites me, though, is the idea of merging my interests with artificial intelligence. The thought of blending manual processes with AI tech gets me fired up. So, fellow future students, remember that your passions can lead you to exciting places, and I can't wait to explore this journey with you!

English and Journalism - BA (Hons)
Hi,
I am a second year student who have experienced taking a gap year after completing A-levels in sixth form.
I then took a local college course as I wanted to go into a degree programme where my A-levels wouldn't apply (STEM A-levels wouldn't do for an English and Journalism degree ) and decided the college course would work out cheaper than a foundation course at uni. So that took 2 years. If you are a mature student and worried about adjusting, I can reassure you that the first year is all about making sure everyone is on the same page.
I am also here if you have any issues with roommates as I had to relocate so understand how it can affect your well-being. I can also relate if you come from a bigger city and find it an adjustment to get used to being a student in a smaller space that lacks the usual diversity from big places.
Otherwise, I like reading, running, and sewing but feel free to reach out for a chat about nothing and everything under the sun :)

Hey, I'm Becka! đˇ I recently graduated from Keele with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and am now an MA Creative Writing student here. I love all things art, from writing to drawing to fashion and self-expression. I also spend a lot of time playing video games, eating food and taking pictures of my cat (my phone storage is nearly full).
