I love the idea of teaching English in South Korea. I have spent much time in Seoul and Busan over the past 2 years and would love the opportunity to move more permanently. As an avid history lover, Korea's expansive history fascinates me! I am a massive fan of BTS, and my bias is Jimin! I am learning to speak Korean and will participate in a summer school in Seoul this summer to expand my language knowledge further. Hey there, I'm Ella!! I'm in my 2nd year of University, and I'm finally settled into Uni life now ;) I love learning about my Immunology degree, especially about viruses and cancers. On the weekends, you can find me hiking with my friends and sometimes we even go wild swimming if the weathers nice (not likely)⛰️. After my lectures, I can either go rock climbing in my Uni society, watch some football, catch up with the F1 I missed on the weekend or catch up with friends in the union playing some pool.

Hi I’m Ellie and I’m a Second Year Pharmacy student. I will be at Lincoln for 3 more years and plan on becoming a pharmacist when I graduate. I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ and I am very familiar with the clearing process due to my A levels not going as expected so feel free to ask questions around this subject too! Clearing felt very daunting at first when things didn’t go as planned on results day, but the process was actually really easy and ended up finding the university that’s best for me. Everything was so quick and it really helped me to settle into university lifestyle. So yeah, any questions you have about this I’m happy to answer :)

Hi, I am Ellie, a second-year student studying Education and Psychology. I have a passion for education and aspire to be an educational consultant. When I was studying for my A Levels I was adamant that I didn't want to leave home, however, moving to uni has been the best decision I have ever made! Life at university has helped me explore new passions and enabled me to continue with old hobbies such as dance! As an education and psychology student, I can explore new ideas in psychology and put them into practice in education, allowing for an advanced style of thinking. Since being at uni I have immersed myself in my studies and life as a student and since becoming a course rep, student ambassador and online tutor as well as being in the dance society. I worked within secondary education for 22 years before starting my PhD research at Leeds Trinity University (LTU). My professional practice and personal ethos have always focused on creating opportunities for children to develop and thrive. Working towards attaining my Masters at LTU not only ignited a passion for research but it also highlighted how academics can work collaboratively with families, professionals and the Government to inform policy & practice. My research is focusing on school attendance and why children living in Bradford may refuse to access their education with an aim to develop targeted bespoke interventions for the city's children.
 
The level of support and specialist training I have received during the start of my PhD journey at LTU has been phenomenal. I am looking forward to not only developing my academic skills but to also having future opportunities to contribute to the research community, and to support other students with their learning journey at LTU.
