I am unsure of my future career path and still finding out what I want to do as a career. I am quite certain it will be in the field of Business but anything more specific than that is still unknown to me. I am passionate about building worthwhile relationships with those around me and being part of a welcoming and warm community of people.
Sid
University of Reading
LLB Law with International Business
Hi, I'm Sid. I am a first-generation, state-educated university student at Reading. Having completed a foundation year in BSc Business & Management at Henley Business School, I am now an LLB Law with International Business student. I remember how difficult it is to pick the right university, Reading has so much support, opportunities and great teaching.
I can answer questions about life in university halls and commuting, foundation year experiences, courses and course transfers, and how university education is structured. I’m also happy to talk about the support available at Reading, including the Disability Advisory Service, as well as general university life such as clubs and societies and being a student councillor and society secretary.
As a first-generation university student from a rural background, I can share insight into the application process, transitioning to university, managing part-time work alongside study, careers, bursaries, and any other university- or Reading-related questions.
I look forward to answering your questions!

Tee
Teesside University
Digital Business Management, MSc
I'm in my first year of postgraduate study, but I've been at Teesside for five years now. During this time I've been involved in pretty much every service offered by the university, so feel free to ask me about the extra services and support available! I enjoy cosy games, lifting weight in the gym and crocheting. I also like cooking and have developed some great budget-friendly recipes over the years! I really love travelling, and have been lucky enough to be funded by the university 4 times to study abroad - something I definitely recommend. I also work at the University library part-time so can advise in part-time job hunting if you have questions.

Manchester Metropolitan University
Business Technology
Hey! 👋 I’m a second year Digital Business student at Manchester Met👩💻. I chose this course because I love how technology and business work together to solve real problems. So far, it’s been super engaging and practical!
I travel to university by public transport, so I know what it’s like balancing commuting and student life. Manchester felt big at first, but it’s such a welcoming city and there’s always something going on.
Feel free to message me if you’ve got any questions about the course, commuting, or what it’s really like studying here! 😊

Strathclyde Business School
I've lived and studied in Scotland, Japan, China, Singapore, and Vietnam, yet I love Strathclyde most so far. My field of interest is venture capital and start-up incubation, and I chose Strathclyde because the University provides many opportunities to get involved in entrepreneurship regardless of your degree. Ask me anything about cultures, lifestyle, and learning opportunities here!

Zainab
UWE Bristol
Software Engineering for Business
I was born and raised in Nigeria and joined UWE early 2023. I will admit I waited till the last minute to decide to pursue software engineering as a degree, but I do believe I made the right decision. My passion for coding and software development is growing by the day and I cannot wait to apply my abilities in the real world. That’s not to say I don’t suffer from imposter syndrome occasionally, but I do think being in the right environment has really helped change my mindset and attitude.
