After graduating with a masters in pharmacy (MPharm) from the University of Portsmouth and qualifying as a pharmacist in the UK, I decided that I wanted to pursue a PhD in molecular microbiology. I am currently in my thesis-writing stage of my PhD. I welcome questions around my student experience as a postgraduate PhD candidate research student.

I love how digital platforms can be used to tell stories and build strong connections. Now, I’m diving into cybersecurity to help make the tech world safer. Outside of school, I’m all about balancing work and play, I enjoy nights out but also love spending time at home to recharge. If you’re curious about tech, media, or life at Portsmouth, I’m always happy to chat and share my experiences!

Anna
University of Glasgow
Portuguese [MA]
Hi! I'm Anna, I'm 23 years old, I'm Scottish and I study Portuguese and Spanish at the University of Glasgow! Currently I am in my final year at university which is both exciting and scary.
I have a real love for languages and travelling and hope to continue this learning even after graduation. I adore music, and writing my own - currently in my country music era - never thought I'd see that day!
I have always managed to maintain a balance of work, study and party. Socialising is such a big part of the University experience and I would recommend to anyone to make the most of their time as a student as you will never have as much free time as you do now, go out and make life-lasting memories!

I love dancing, checking out live music events, going out with friends, and any sort of terrible reality TV show.
Feel free to ask me questions about uni life, living abroad, or anything you feel uncertain about, and I will do my best to help!
