Brunel University LondonEnglishHey everyone, I'm Janvi, currently pursuing my BA in English at Brunel University. My aspirations lead me towards a career as a marketing assistant, which I actively pursue through volunteering with the Brunel Volunteers Scheme. Additionally, I proudly serve as Brunel's Careers and Employability Ambassador and Student Well-Being Ambassador. When I'm not buried in books, you can find me exploring culinary delights, jetting off on adventures, or lost in the pages of a good book. As your ambassador, it's my pleasure to offer you a glimpse into the bustling life here at Brunel. Whether you're itching to know about academics, craving insider info on extracurriculars, or just curious about what it's like to be a student at Brunel, I've got your back and help you uncover why Brunel is such an exceptional place to study. Looking forward to connecting with you... Abby
University of ChesterBA English LiteratureI live near Chester and have always come shopping in Chester since being a child, and I have always loved it as a city. I love to read which is why I chose English Literature as a course, and I don’t have a lot of career plans but I’m looking into teaching! Amanda
University of LincolnEnglish and Journalism - BA (Hons)Hi, I am a second year student who have experienced taking a gap year after completing A-levels in sixth form. I then took a local college course as I wanted to go into a degree programme where my A-levels wouldn't apply (STEM A-levels wouldn't do for an English and Journalism degree ) and decided the college course would work out cheaper than a foundation course at uni. So that took 2 years. If you are a mature student and worried about adjusting, I can reassure you that the first year is all about making sure everyone is on the same page. I am also here if you have any issues with roommates as I had to relocate so understand how it can affect your well-being. I can also relate if you come from a bigger city and find it an adjustment to get used to being a student in a smaller space that lacks the usual diversity from big places. Otherwise, I like reading, running, and sewing but feel free to reach out for a chat about nothing and everything under the sun :) Anh
University of NorthamptonMA TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)Xin chào/Hello, I’m Anh and currently studying MA TESOL. Please don't hesitate to ask me anything. Becka
Keele UniversityEnglish & Creative WritingHey, I'm Becka! 🌷 I recently graduated from Keele with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and am now an MA Creative Writing student here. I love all things art, from writing to drawing to fashion and self-expression. I also spend a lot of time playing video games, eating food and taking pictures of my cat (my phone storage is nearly full). I've taken electives in philosophy, psychology, media studies and sociology, and live off-campus. In the future I hope to live in a remote forest treehouse (with a good wi-fi signal). Feel free to ask me any questions about uni! 🦋 Bunni
Staffordshire UniversityEnglish, Creative Writing and PhilosophyMy name is Bunni and I’m a Student Ambassador for Staffordshire University here to talk to you about English and life at Staffs. Drop me a message and I’ll get back to you ASAP! David

University of LincolnEnglish and History - BA (Hons)Hi! My name is Emma and I'm a second year English and History student. I love reading and exploring old ruins and museums, and this degree has only helped to increase my love of these things. I am Vice-President of the Korfball Society, and being a part of this society has really helped me to settle into the uni lifestyle and make friends, which was something I was nervous about when starting. Grace
University of LincolnEnglish and Creative Writing - BA (Hons)Hi! I’m Grace, a 1st Year English and Creative Writing student! If I’m not trying to get this weeks reading complete, I’m probably sleeping. Currently trying to figure out my career plans, and what my next short story is going to be! Hannah
University of GlasgowEnglish Literature [MA]As a child of immigrants, I have always paid attention to the news, regardless if I thought it be interesting or not, because I had family living under a tyrannic government. This constant attention to news channels, whether that be on the TV or written, became a part of my daily life, naturally. And so, my passion for information and to enable others to be cognizant of certain situations, injustices, etc. transpired. This passion grew over time and by the age of 7, it had transformed into wanting to become an investigative journalist and write everything I experienced and how it differs from other personal experiences. Hollie
University of PlymouthBA (Hons) EnglishI am currently studying English literature as I love the aspect of exploring ideas through literature its a good way to access political and legal ideas in a safe space, but looking forward I would love to do my masters in Law and eventually become a solicitor and then possibly a judge Izzi
Nottingham Trent UniversityEnglish, Linguistics and Creative WritingHi, I'm Izzi. I'm a second-year Creative Writing student at NTU who spent several years in an online school before heading onto campus. I'm usually spotted tucked in a quiet corner with my laptop working on my portfolio.
