    Hello, everyone 👋🏼 I’m Ramir Fakour, a student on the Games (Computer Science pathway). I’m passionate about understanding how things work, whether that’s game mechanics or systems design. Outside of university, I’ve had a varied background. I practised Muay Thai for years, competing professionally and later working as a trainer, which taught me discipline, resilience, and focus. I’m also interested in watches, and I buy and resell them as a hobby. I’m drawn to video games, mechanics and design systems, especially those that explore interaction and player experience. I also have a strong appreciation for classic cinema and older films. I enjoy exploring storytelling styles and aesthetics from different eras. As a course ambassador, I’m happy to share my experience, answer questions, and help prospective students understand what studying here is really like.

I worked as an early intervention caseworker, advocating for children’s and youth’s rights fleeing abuse or in gang related violence. I am studying a MA in International Child Rights and development at Kings College London, with the aim of becoming an International Children’s Rights lawyer with expertise in post-conflict areas and war related crimes.
