Our International Business Management foundation year programme has been designed to develop your basic leadership and management skills, preparing you for your future studies and a successful career in business.
Whether you want to better prepare for academic life, didn't get the grades you needed, or you've taken a break from studying, the foundation year is designed to prepare you for future studies, so everyone is welcome.

This course is also available with:
• Placement Year - on the placement year option, you will not pay fees to the University and will earn a wage for the work that you do.

Foundation Year: Foundations of Business, Academic and Personal Skills, Sustainable Business Development, Employability for Life, Digital Business, Business Project.
Year 1: Understanding Organisations, Business Finance in Practice, The Future of Business, Digital and Business Skills, Data Analysis for Business, International Business.
Year 2: Professional Development, International Trade and Finance, International Logistics and Distribution Management, Project Management, Live Project for International Business. You will also choose an elective module. Please visit the website for more information.
Year 3: Contemporary Issues in International Business, Leadership and Management in International Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Business Ethics and Sustainability, International Business Culture, Strategic International Business, You will also choose an elective module. We use different forms of assessment in different modules and wherever possible these will reflect the types of work you will do in the ‘real world’ for example, report writing, presentations and business pitches. Exams will only be used when it is a requirement for professional accreditation.
Throughout your studies, the work you produce will help to build your personal portfolio of professional evidence that you will be able to use in job applications and interviews.
