Clinical experience with compassion

Student health coach: in the community tackling preventable illness, lifestyle factors and socialised isolation Social action projects: and placements in hospital and community settings Patient advocate: working alongside a wider multi-disciplinary team to support patients and improve patient outcomes Medics in Schools: enhance your curriculum by teaching and mentoring at local schools in areas of need.
Music Therapy: all students in year 1 will learn about patient experience and narratives through an innovative intergenerational music making placement.

The School of Medicine will teach the full medical curriculum approved by the General Medical Council, the regulators of medical training providers in the UK. We are working successfully with the General Medicine Council (GMC) to gain accreditation for our MBBS degree. As with all new UK medical schools, the GMC will work with us following the first cohort from year one until graduation.
