Are you looking to pursue an exciting career in tourism, hospitality or events? This two-year Foundation Degree is designed to prepare you for your next step towards achieving this!
Covering a diverse range of topics such as global hospitality organisations and tourism drivers and trends, you will experience the industry first-hand, through work placements and residentials in real-working environments.
You will also have the opportunity to study additional qualifications, focusing on management skills and developing as a professional in the industry.
Year 1: Creativity, Enterprise and Scholarship, Global Hospitality Organisations, Professional Practice in Tourism, Hospitality and Events and Tourism Today.
Year 2: Contemporary Issues in Global Hospitality Industry, Tourism Drivers and Trend, Global Meetings Industry and Business Events and Destination Management Field Work.
Assessment methods include practical assessments, case studies, poster presentations, work placements, reflective writing, personal development planning, exams, written assignments and a research seminar/conference presentation.

All applicants should hold a relevant level 2 English and maths qualification, equivalent to GCSE grade C/4 or above.
