Our BSc Hons Psychology course explores adult and child psychology, the workings of the brain, social influences on relationships, and applications of psychology in the real world.
As well as preparing you to pursue further training for careers in Psychology, our degree helps you attain skills that prospective employers in a range of careers find attractive. Modules reflect the breadth of the discipline, from cognitive psychology and neuroscience to developmental psychology and social psychology.
The degree, which is accredited by the British Psychological Society, includes an empirical project in the final year. If you graduate with at least second-class honours and pass the empirical project, you will be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the BPS. This is a necessary first step for to undergo further training to become a Chartered Psychologist.
