The Games Design & Development top-up award will allow students who already hold a Level Five qualification, or equivalent prior experience and learning, in Computer Game Design to develop and consolodate their learning and achieve a full Bachelor of Arts degree. The award will have a practical focus, with students demonstrating their knowledge, understanding and skills by building games or game elements in various projects throughout the programme. Students will research emerging technologies, such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), to ensure their knowledge is cutting-edge and contemporary, whilst also exploring in-depth the business of computer gaming, game studios, and digital games marketplaces.
