Overview
Are you eager to launch a career as a game developer, mastering the art of creating compelling narratives, graphics, and code? If so, our BSc Digital Media and Creative Computing with a Year Abroad is the ideal course for you. You'll gain a deep understanding of digital media and its impact on society. You'll learn to harness its power to realise your own creative vision. At the same time, you'll develop a comprehensive knowledge of computing science. You'll be confident in computer programming, games, web and app development. The fast-evolving area of AI could become a focus. You can tailor the balance between digital media and computing science to suit your career ambitions.
Your imagination will thrive in our creative campus's cutting-edge facilities. The professional three-camera setup in our TV Studio enables you to capture high-definition footage. You can then edit this to industry standards in our Media Suite. Games development, meanwhile, takes place in our advanced graphics and computing lab.

You might embark on a career in web or app development, software engineering. You might enter the digital gaming industry. Additional fee information
Tuition fees increase annually for all students in subsequent years of study. Any fee increase is based on the fee for the year that you register. Home undergraduate fees, whose rates are regulated by the UK Government, will be amended in line with any alteration advised by the UK Government. Fees not regulated by the UK Government will increase by a maximum of 4% or RPI-X whichever is the higher. RPI-X is the Retail Prices Index excluding mortgage interest.
