Through teaching that’s inspired by research and professional practice expertise, you’ll cover a range of psychological subjects designed to build knowledge and understanding of how to apply theory and research with an educational psychology focus.

During the foundation year, you will study the following units: Applied Sciences; Academic and Professional Study Skills; Introduction to Biology; Introduction to Psychology; Mathematics in Science; and Foundation Year Project.

Year 1 units: The Art and Science of Psychological Inquiry; Conceptual and Historical Issues in Psychology; Introduction to Educational Psychology; Biological and Cognitive Psychology; You, Me and Us: Social Psychology and Individual Differences 1; Development, Health and Psychological Disorders 1
