This Degree is unique; at the centre of our programme of learning is the student's employability and the understanding of how businesses function and thrive.
Students will be introduced to the professional standards of corporate business and be exposed to entrepreneurial concepts that will enable them to see opportunities for creating businesses or engage in a rewarding career. The course prepares students for a fast-changing business environment that has varied and complex impacts across all industries globally.
This course has been written to support students to become senior managers in the workplace with the skills required to support business success in this world. The course has been developed with the support of industry advisers and is delivered by lecturers with a proven-track record within the business world. With the help of learning a breadth of business modules by applying them to real-world examples, this course prepares graduates to be at the forefront of this ever-changing business world, equipping them with an array of adaptable business and management skills.
The programme has also been mapped to CMI (April 2020). Specifically certain modules are linked to the Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship Standard. The pathway has been designed by CMI for practising or aspiring managers who are enrolled on the Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship. Modules have also been mapped to CIPD and CIM to further allow students to prepare for a chosen career.
